Dammien Alexander, the Philadelphia native has spent the past 5 years writing and recording in Canada. His first release “Beautifully” was a self-produced effort which was subsequently licensed to the Toronto based independent label Curve Music and distributed by Universal Music Canada in the summer of 2007 to positive reviews and plenty of buzz.

In 2008 he released “We Are Who We Have Been Waiting For” (Live Village Records) with its distinctive soul influenced urban rock sound. Following a radio campaign on US college and AAA stations in the United States, Alexander toured the US, UK and Asian markets for 5 months in 2008 and shot a video for “Closer In” which was shot on 16 mm film and aired on Much Music (Canada), BET (United States) and digitally on Asian and European websites. He is currently on Sound of Pop’s publishing roster.
