Dwight Deon

Anthems for the Restless - 2009

Dwight combines pop singer/songwriter sensibilities with early “arena rock” roots and churns out a sound that is both familiar and satisfying, yet refreshing and new.

Coproduced by Terry Pulliam (Sloan, Buck 65) at Sound Market his debut full length album Anthems for the Restless (Sound Of Pop/Fontana North/Universal) was released on October 27th, 2009 – a collection of songs that tell a compelling personal and musical journey that took him from humble beginnings as an east coast lobster fisherman, to the top of Canada’s mainstream music & entertainment industry as a former Canadian Idol finalist, in the summer of 2007.

Deon’s debut single, Volume, released in 2009 hit the East Coast Countdown and reached #66 on the National Active Rock Charts and his second single “What I Am” climbed to #3 on the East Coast Countdown in June 2010.
