Products of small town Newfoundland, and bringing together four varied and seasoned songwriters, producers and musicians, Fairgale is the sum of rock and roll collaboration from 4 uniquely skilled artists. Their latest release, “The Way It Was Before”, was started just before the 2020 pandemic. “As the pandemic restrictions started to ease, the album moved back into the studio, combining and incorporating work done from a distance, making it a hybrid album of sorts.” said Andrew. “As time goes on, we change as people and as a band. This is a collection of songs which shows that growth.”

Stephen talked about the song development and the band’s sound. “This is probably the most interesting and complete collection of songs we’ve released, ” he explained. “We sort of stopped worrying about anything other than releasing songs we felt were our best work. This album crosses and mixes genres, decades, and sounds, and we’re proud to just put something out that doesn’t try to fit into any particular box. It’s just us being us.”

Fairgale is looking to further their national and international reach through 2024, and have unique opportunities on the horizon Recently signing with LA based producer Greg Wells’ brand new Newfoundland and Labrador Record Label “Scilly Cove Records”, where they will record a brand new under Wells’ guidance as producer.
