Keith Mullins is a Multiple ECMA and Music Nova Scotia award winning artist/songwriter born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia with multiple records spanning several genres. Keith has a degree in classical music from Dalhousie University and has studied with master drummers like Suale Seidu in Ghana and Juan Gualberto and Jaroldy Robles in Cuba.

Keith tours the world playing with many of the finest musicians on the East Coast and performs well over 250 shows every year. When not touring, he works passionately at the art of music, from creation to performance to production, all the while maintaining his focus in the pursuit of forward thinking projects. Keith’s most recent award was for Music Nova Scotia’s 2017 “Children’s Artist of the Year” and he has continued his work with the youth of Nova Scotia through a partnership with schools across Canada, teaching songwriting, drumming and performance. Keith’s heartfelt videos, including his most recent showing an elderly couple dancing to Keith playing a one-man band version of “Uptown Funk”, have received approx. 100 million views on social media platforms including Facebook & YouTube and have been featured in Canada by TSN, CBC, Global, CTV & Internationally on NBC Today and the London Telegraph newspaper. In late 2017, Keith’s song “Shine” was chosen by Sobey’s for use in a company-wide video series. His album “The Heart of Everything” is described as an “11 Track Group Hug” by CBC’s Bob Mersereau. Keith is currently touring across Canada (2019) to promote his latest album (Onward and Upward) which consists of tracks made in collaboration with Matt Anderson, Gordie Sampson, Meaghan Smith and Classified.
