From humble beginnings in small town Newfoundland, Gordon Huxter has grown from years of practical music production and recording with countless collaborators. Playing in several groups through the years he took it upon himself to creating the sonic palette as well as co-write the songs for the recordings of these groups, most recently for his pop duo Everglow, with which he toured for 8 months across Canada between 2015 and 2016. After having produced the Everglow album Ocean Season, the group was then nominated for several awards including Album of the Year, Pop/Rock Recording of the year and Songwriter of the year from Music NL in 2015. Travelling to Los Angeles and a SOCAN KENEKT camp he has progressed through working with world class industry professionals. He continues to grow based out of Hamilton in close proximity to Toronto and the wealth of collaborators available in the biggest city in Canada.
