Sadie

Sadie is a bottle-rocket of an artist, from Saint John, New Brunswick, whose voice could have been attained through a deal done at the crossroads.

Since playing with Saint John-based bands NVN, Regardless, Bad People, and Subtle, Sadie has recently emerged as a powerful folk-rock grunge/dream pop solo act. She attributes her sound to a range of musical influences including Soccer Mommy, Phoebe Bridgers, Wet, Sza, and a long-time love of JoJo. Sadie is also influenced by rock and punk, and their sound often mingles with that of fellow artists local to New Brunswick and the Maritimes. They have performed at numerous festivals including POP Montreal, Shivering Songs, Quality Block Party, Evolve, and E2L Jam.

Sadie is a graduate of the Mount Allison University Music program and has a minor in Gender Studies. During her time at Mount Allison University, Sadie worked as a coordinator for CHMA’s music festival and fundraiser, Stereophonic, and served as co-producer for Conduct Becoming, a non-profit music project.

Sadie released her debut single, “Popcorn”, on November 6th, 2020 through Saint John’s Monopolized Records. Sadie recently signed a co-publishing deal with Sound of Pop and is currently songwriting with Andy Stochansky.
