Sleeping Lily

Sleeping Lily is a neo-classical musician/composer from Nova Scotia. Her music ranges from purely instrumental tracks, to songs with soft vocal sounds, and sometimes lyrics. Sleeping Lily is inspired by feelings of melancholy, and the beauty that exists amidst darkness.

She has previous works of acoustic-folk music under her personal name, Tawnie Lucas, and before that she also wrote electronic music under the name Ominar for several years. Over that time she gained experience in the local music scene, and attained nominations, radio play and producing skills.

Neo-classical music always had a special place in her heart and later realized it was the type of music she’s most inspired and moved by. Sleeping Lily is her true calling and what comes most naturally. She writes her songs with deep emotion in a dark and delicate way. Her most recent release is her album called ‘Floda’.
