Rosewood Annie

Rosewood Annie are a 4-piece post-hardcore outfit from Halifax, Nova Scotia founded in December, 2014 by guitar player Ben Rato. The band wasted no time, recording their very first album ‘The Totem EP’ at Soundmarket Studios in Wolfville, Nova Scotia released in 2015. Rosewood Annie are an incredibly determined family of high school friends, and are committed to being Canada’s next Punk Rock phenomenon, being compared to such acts as Billy Talent and Alexisonfire.

The band has toured all over the Maritimes and central Canada, earning radio play on CHSR FM 97.9 in Fredericton and Q104 FM in Halifax. In February 2017 the band wrapped up the recording of their new EP “To Whom It May Concern” at The Echo Chamber, which was released in May 2017, featuring new vocalist Katie W.

Rosewood Annie’s tones and melodies will remind you of a better time, nailing the nostalgic vibes of old post-hardcore while also keeping a punk edge. Their new EP ‘To Whom It May Concern’ brings some heavy songs to the table with themes of change and reflection of the past. It’s emotional heavy music, something that you will connect to on a deeper level than just listening… They will make you feel what they felt when they wrote the songs.
